We took to the streets of Baghdad to ask everyday folks what love means to them. In a city bursting with adoration, it felt like the perfect thing to ask.
About the Filmmaker
Since graduating from Baghdad's Institute of Fine Art, Sajjad Abbas has occupied several roles in the film industry. His 2014 film Iraqi Superman won the award for the best animated short at the Marematraggio Shorts International Film Festival. Sajjad currently works at a local TV station in Baghdad as a video editor, in addition to being an independent animation filmmaker, video creator and street artist.
